Hi everyone, I hope you are well.  Here are a few activities you can do with your child this week.

Find 1 more and 1 less than a number.

             

Choose a number between 1 and 10.  Find 1 more than the number and then find 1 less than the  number.  You can show the amount of fingers on your hands to help and then put 1 more finger up and put 1 finger down to help.

Challenge:

Choose two of the 1 less challenges and complete them.

 

Another activity you can do with your child is to make some monster crispy cakes. 

                             

                                 

You need marshmallows, rice krispies and butter.  If you want to decorate them then you also need some icing sugar, food colouring and more marshmallows.

First melt the butter and then add the marshmallows and the rice krispies.  Mix and spoon the mixture into a tin.  leave to cool for 2-3 hours and then they are ready to decorate if you want! Or you can have them as they are, enjoy.
