Today we are looking at how we could open our story. Read through these examples and think what do you notice? What makes a good opening?
I want you to have a go at writing the opening to our follow on Iron man story! Remember that in an opening you need to introduce the characters and the setting.
We are going to include 3 types of sentences, a 2A sentence, a BOYS sentence and a simile.
A 2 A sentence is a sentence with 2 adjectives (describing words)
A BOYS sentence includes But Or Yet So
A simile compares one thing to another using ‘as a’ or ‘like a’
