We have loved having the children back in their classrooms this half term!
Here is a brief overview about what we have been learning about:
- English - Our class text is 'Skellig' and we have been writing newspaper reports about the discovery of a mysterious creature at Southglade Primary School.
- Maths - We have been learning about fractions this half term. We have been learning how to: recognise equivalent fractions; order fractions; simplify fractions; add and subtract fractions and multiplied and divided fractions.
- Art - Our curriculum driver is Art this half term and our enquiry question is: 'I Wonder How Superheroes are Represented in Art?' The children have studied the famous artists Andy Warhol and Roy Lichtenstein, created Pop Art, drew people in motion and sketched portraits.
