Caribbean Afternoon 12.10.2023
Our afternoon started with a fantastic Caribbean lunch including Jerk Chicken and Mango Sorbet.
The children then learnt all about the Caribbean including where it was and lots of facts including places in the Caribbean, food from the Caribbean and famous people who came from the Caribbean.
In year 1 the children tasted lots of different fruit from the Caribbean, we compared the fruit grown in the UK and fruit grown in the Caribbean.
In year 3 the children tasted Caribbean food and made some ginger biscuits.
In year 2 and year 5 the children created art work based on a Caribbean beach, they look amazing!!!
