Spelling rule- removing the 'e' to add ing.

 

Today we are going to be focussing on verbs that end in e. Such as:

 

bake

make

love

come

 

When a word ends in 'e' we must remove it before adding the suffix -ing.

For example:

baking

making

loving

coming
