Hi everyone, I hope you are well.  here are a  few activities you can do with your child this week.

Maths problem solving, looking at the size of objects.

Think about something that is long and short. 

                 

                      

 

Can you choose some objects you have at home and order them in size order starting with the shortest to the longest.

 

Now can you think of something which is small and big. 

                         

                      

Choose some different objects and order them from the smallest to the biggest.

Another activity you can do is some baking with your child.  Here is a recipe for cheese straws.

Ask an adult to help you measure out the ingredients.  Then mix and use your fingers to rub in the butter/ margarine into the flour.  This is where you can get a bit messy!!! Then add the cheese.  Enjoy!
