Materials

We are continuing to think about materials this week.

In school science lessons we learned about some properties that materials may have.  These included whether something is: hard/soft; stretchy/stiff; shiny/dull; rough/smooth; bendy/not bendy; waterproof/not waterproof; absorbent/not absorbent; opaque/transparent.

Your task this week is to try find something in your home or outside that has at least one of each of these properties.  See if you can find something different for each property and complete a table like the one below.  The one below is filled in with things around my home.  Can you find different things to fill in on the blank table I have attached?
