Marvellous Music

This week we have been learning about tempo and the speed of sounds linked to different animals and how they move. 

We have been thinking about how to make music faster and what this sounds like when you are performing. 

We listened to a carnival of animals to try and find out which animal was represented by which piece of music. 

Maths

This week we have been exploring adding by partitioning the second number to make the number bond to 10 before adding the remaining ones. 

We have been using number lines to aid our adding to ensure we are counting up accurately. 

We are now going to use these skills we have acquired for adding in different ways to subtracting.
