Holi Celebration Day
On Friday, the school had a Holi celebration Day. In the morning we had a special assembly from Rashme, a visitor from the Hindu temple. She explained why and how Hindu's celebrate the Holi festival. We completed a diary entry from the perspective of a Hindu child who had celebrated Holi. In the afternoon, we learnt about Matisse and his use of colour. The children considered colours that made them happy and they completed art work using the quilling skill.
