Spelling
This week we are going to be thinking about plurals.
What do you think a plural is? A plural is more than one.
For example- 1 cat (singular) 4 cats (plural)

Can you sort the following words into singular and plural?
English
Now that we have written up our non-fiction pages for our book, we now need to write up the other features that distinguish a non-fiction book from a fiction book such as a contents page, glossary and index page.
Today we are going to write up our contents page. Your contents page needs to tell the reader what information is on each page. To make our contents page more interesting, we are going to use alliteration.
Before Christmas we looked at alliteration within poetry. Today I want you to have a go at using alliteration within your contents page e.g Captivating castles.
Watch Mrs Bragg's video where she explains alliteration and the contents page

Don't forget to use your writing token!
Maths
For your maths lesson today you will need a ruler or something with a straight edge to help you draw 2D shapes.
Watch Miss Storer's video below to learn the best techniques for drawing shapes, then have a go at the worksheet in your pack.
There is a challenge for you to have a go at too.

Curriculum
Today is our last lesson for our DT driver! We have had so much fun learning about Castles and Knights and how different mechanisms make toys move. We have even built our own Castles with a moving drawbridge using a pulley mechanism!
Now that we have made our product, it is important that we reflect upon it thinking about what went well and what we might want to change if we were to make another Castle.
Have a go at completing a self-reflection evaluation.
