We have started reading our new book Secrets of a Sun King by Emma Carroll. So far, we've been introduced to the main character, Lilian Kaye. Her grandfather used to travel when he was younger and he is very passionate about Egypt. He has been taken ill in hospital and Lilian has discovered a mysterious package addressed to him.

This week, we have been making inferences from the text and writing predictions about what we think is going to happen next in the story.
