'Believe to Achieve'

Week 2

Happy Friday!

For those of you working at home, the Easter Holidays will begin for you tomorrow. Though it will be a very different holiday for you, in your homes, this is a great opportunity to spend time with your family and relax.

If you're finding that you are enjoying your new routine at home and you would like to continue doing bits of school work, that's absolutely fine, some work will appear on our blog for you to have a go at.

If you are feeling a little overwhelmed by all of this and you are missing your friends and extended family, use the next couple of weeks to find imaginative ways to get in touch with them from the safety of your own homes.

You have been amazing over the last couple of weeks and the whole year 6 team continue to be incredibly proud of you.

Remember, this won't be forever, but for now you must stay at home and help our country get back to normal.

Keep yourselves and your families safe and we will see you soon.

Time Capsule

This is a really great activity to have a go at if you have access to a printer. If you complete it, put it somewhere safe, you will be able to look back on it one day.

Your mission today: do something to make someone smile smiley

Times Tables Rock Stars

These children are top of the leader board on Times Tables Rock Stars for 6S, well done! Remember to keep playing to keep us in the lead on our latest battle.

Mental Health Matters

In year 6, we have talked lots about looking after our mental health as well as our physical health. This important now, more than ever. Some of you might be feeling a bit worried or a bit sad at the moment, and that's okay, but it's important to find things that can help you. We are really missing teaching and seeing you all each day at the moment and it has been hard for us to adjust to our new "normal" and you may be feeling the same way too. We are so proud of all of you for the things you are doing at home and the wonderful work you are producing. Please also make sure you are finding things to do that enrich your life. Colouring/drawing/doodling is great for this. Look after yourselves and remember that if you need anything you can email us.

Stay safe 😊

Family Lockdown Sing-a-long

Watch this family's rendition of Les Mis - Lockdown Remix. Perhaps some of our talented families could do their own version? If you have a go, please email it to us! If not, just enjoy the show!
