Our curriculum driver this half term is DT and we are learning about cooking. So far. we have learnt about personal hygiene when cooking as well as safety in the kitchen.
On Wednesday, we tasted different food combinations to see which food combinations to include in our dumplings. We tasted mustard, onion, coriander, cheese and peppers. We have also practised our chopping skills this week. The children were taught how to use the bridge and claw technique and they practised these on tomatoes and cucumber.
