Wednesday
Morning Everyone
For our phonics activity today we will be introducing rhyming words. Rhyming words are words that sound the same at the end of the word, such as cat, mat, rat. To help us to begin to find rhyming words we will be looking at a number of different nursery rhymes.
We will use the songs to help us look for repeating rhyming words which will help us to hear them.
In the video we will sing the songs together then break it down and find the rhyming words.
You can also find lots of nursery rhymes on you tube that you can use to explore this further such as Miss Polly has a dolly and Hey Diddle Diddle.
Todays nursery rhyme is Hickory Dickory Dock, please follow the link below to Mrs Bettridge's video.
