Week Three

this week we looked at Christian pilgrimages. We chose an area to research and found out why Christians go on pilgrimage to the chosen place. In our second lesson, we created travel brochures for places of pilgrimage for non-religious people. 

Week Two

This week, we looked at Hindu pilgrimages. We discussed how they were similar to Muslim pilgrimages. We also used atlases to find places where Hindus go on pilgrimage. 

Week One

In RE this week, we discussed how pilgrimages take place and that people who take part in a pilgrimage are called pilgrims. We looked at the pilgrimage that Muslims take to Mecca this week, and discussed what they take part in when they get there.
