Week Three

We started our week by converting amounts into pounds and pence. We discussed misconceptions such as not using the £ sign and pence sign together. We ended the week with a cross-curricular maths lesson, where we had to add the amounts each Viking had spent at the Viking shop!

Week Two

This week, we have focused on comparing and ordering decimals. We looked at the meaning of ascending and descending order. We also started our next topic of money, and looked at the £ and pence signs, as well as converting between pounds and pence.
