We have been exploring our whole school library as well as our class library.
We have been getting cosy under blankets and snuggled up with a good book!
Stone Age Workshop
We have been lucky enough this week to experience a Stone Age workshop from a real life archaeologist!
Dr Ian Parker Heath came in and taught us so much about the skills you need to become an archaeologist. We tried many things we had never tried before such as excavating, making pottery, weaving animal fur, stripping plant stems using flint and grinding wheat to make flour.
We are now more confident historians!
