In Autumn 2, we will be using the book 'Escape from Pompeii' by Christina Balit. This will play a key part in our English lessons.

Our English lessons will focus on creating a narrative from the view of one of the characters, and shape poetry based on volcanoes. 

Our inquiry question is 'I wonder what did the Romans do for us?'. We will be exploring British resistance and Boudica, the Romanisation of Britain, and the power of the Roman army.

Year 3 are in for a very exciting half term!
