This week we should have had our RE celebration day. World religion day is celebrated in January each year, and takes place on the third Sunday of the month. Try the activity below, and don’t forget to email your work to your teacher!

Here is some information about pilgrimages, this shows belonging to a community. Can you compare how pilgrimages are different in each community?

To demonstrate your understanding of this aspect of World Religion Day, you could:

- Create a song/poem

- Create a poster for 1 or more religion's pilgrimage experiences

- Create an information booklet, comparing religious pilgrimages in different religions

- Create a piece of art work that shows the route you would travel on a particular pilgrimage
