This week we have been looking closely each day at how the chicks have changed. Throughout the week we have noticed that some of the chicks feathers are starting to grow on the tips of their wings and their tail feathers. The boys are much bigger than the girls are and a much lighter colour.

The chicks have enjoyed coming out for a run around on the carpet with the children helping to keep them safe.

During this time we have had the chance to talk a lot about animal well fare and what we can do to help them grow and thrive in their new homes.
