Week Three

In our science lesson this week, we identified how switches can be used in a simple circuit. We predicted how the switch would affect the circuit and discussed whether the position of the switch affected the circuit. 

Week Two

We started this week by making our own simple circuits. We used our prediction skills to predict whether the circuit would be complete or incomplete and then we created the circuit to see if our prediction was correct. In our second science lesson, we completed an investigation into electrical conductors and insulators. We tested materials to see if they were conductors or insulators of electricity, and had some interesting findings!

Week One

Our new topic is electricity. We spent the first lesson looking at mains and battery electricity, before discussing how we can be safe around electricity.
