Proprioception is one of our body's senses. It tells us exactly where our body parts are and allows us to plan our movements. We can do different activities to alert or calm our central nervous system.

*Swaddling-being wrapped in a blanket very snuggly
*Make a 'sandwich' out of the child between two cushions/mats, adding gentle pressure
