Friday-Shape,Space and Measure
Good morning everyone! Todays home learning is all about measuring length and height - how long and how tall.
Remember to do your PE with Joe workout too!
1. Write a sentence and draw a picture for your home learning diary.
2. Challenge: Draw around your hand and cut it out. Now use your hand cut out to measure different objects in your house. Watch the video below for a demonstration of the activity.

Extension: Record the length of the objects that you measure e.g. sofa=10 hands and then use your recordings to find out which object is the longest and which one is the shortest.

4. If you have a printer, print out this sheet and have a go at measuring the different space objects. You will need a ruler or a tape measure and a grown up to help you. If you can't print the sheets use your ruler to measure small objects around your house.
