Drop Everything and Read Paired Reading
Children in 6ps and 2f dropped everything and read together this afternoon. We are both members of cedar house and we enjoyed working together to support reading in our classes. It was really lovely to see year 6 pupils listening to children from year 2 reading their own books.
6ps and 2f will be reading to each other each Monday from now on...

The Great Project
Over the last 4 weeks children in 6s and 6ps have been taking part in the GREAT project. This stands for:
Good
Relationships are
Equal
And
Trusting
They have learnt about the importance of equality in relationships, the different types of abusive behaviours that can occur in relationships and the people in their lives that they can talk to. I hope they remember these lessons in the future and grow up to have healthy and wonderful relationships in the future.
