Our blog
Year 4 visited Papplewick Pumping Station to explore the history of water supply in Nottingham. This included fun drama experiences which immersed the children into the Victorian era. They were also able to visit an old water reserve.
This week in year 4 we have completed the Road Safety quiz online. The children had to answer 20 multiple choice questions about staying safe while crossing roads, cycling on roads and recognising different signs. They scored 75% overall. Well done year 4!
Curriculum Driver
Our curriculum driver this half term is Geography and all about Migration (animal migration and human geography). This links in with our book, The Boy at the back of the Classroom.
Please spend time looking at our Knowledge Organiser for this half term. You may want to talk about the key facts that are on it, practise learning the key vocabulary and the meanings of the words. You may want to look at maps of the world and research about different animals that migrate and where they migrate to!
Happy exploring, Year 4!
