Week 7

Excellent English

Using the theme of monsters this week we are exploring Excitable Edgar the dragon from the John Lewis Christmas advert.

We are exploring what he looks like and beginning to think about the content of the advert linking it to our Learning Value empathy.

We are also comparing Edgar with Zog from the Julia Donaldson text to discuss the similarities and differences.

Marvellous Maths

This week we have been looking at doubles and ensuring we have a good understanding of how we can add these accurately using the ten frame to support.
