Good Morning

For phonics today we will be looking at copying a rhythm which is a repeated pattern.  Listen to the rhythm and see if you can copy it, we are using our bodies to make the rhythm.  We are using our hands to clap a rhythm and then hands and feet to make another rhythm.  Look at Miss Brierley's video below.

For maths today we are looking at 1 more than a number.  This is adding 1 and seeing how many you have now.  We will be using the dinosaurs counting how many we have and then adding 1 more dinosaur.  We will be using the number line to help us to find 1 more.  Look at Miss Brierley's video below.

Today Miss Brierley is reading 'Can't you sleep little bear' by Martin Waddell.  He is the same person who also wrote our focus book 'Farmer duck' from last half term.  Can't you sleep little bear is all about a little bear who can't sleep because he doesn't like the dark.  Listen to the story below.
