'Believe to Achieve'

Summer Term

Week 1, Summer 2.

Polar Bears and Penguins have enjoyed being back at school after our half term holiday. The children have started exploring this half term's focus book "The Very Hungry Caterpillar" and have completed some lovely activities based around the text.

Final Week

We have enjoyed spending our final week before half term playing together and doing our last Dogger themed activities. We have weighed toys and written toy shopping lists too.

Week 3

This week we have been engaging in lots of Outdoor Learning with our friends from both Penguins and Polar Bears Class. Many of the activities and resources below have captured our interest this week. We have been using the dinosaurs and trains to make up imaginative stories about rescuing dinosaurs and people from danger!

You may see other children digging for treasure in the mud, in the hope of recovering some gold or any shiny gems to sell in their shop. How much can we sell the treasure for? 1p, 2p, 5p, 10p, 20p, 50p, £1 or even more.

While other children have shown an interest in working out how to double the spots on a ladybird picture and then write the corresponding number sentences next to it. We now know that doubling means adding the same amount twice, for example, 5+5=10, 10+10=20.

Week 2

The children have now settled fully back into class after the summer holidays and are enjoying extending their learning around our focus book 'Dogger'. Take a look at our photos to see what we love to play with and get up to when we are at school.

Week 1

Introducing Dogger!

This week we have introduced our new focus book for this half term- Dogger. We  have done lots of activities like writing sentences about our favourite toys  to help kick off our learning.
