Researching Oceans

In 6S we have been using the internet and books to gather information about the oceans of the world. We are then going to use this information to help us complete a Big Write about plastic pollution.

Our Topic Wall

Our topic wall is really starting to come alive with the outstanding work that year 6 are producing!

Resilience

This half term our school learning value is resilience. Before half term, some of year 6 were lucky enough to attend the residential to Kingswood. While we were there, there was plenty of opportunity for children to show resilience.

In our P.S.H.E lesson this week, we were looking at some of the activities that were done and discussing how resilience was shown and challenges that needed to be overcome.

Scavenger Hunt- countries around the world

Children have been finding out about countries around the world and have been using atlases to find out what continents they are in and what their capital cities are.
