This week in English, we have started our new text type, explanation texts. We have looked at good and bad examples and the children have identified key features of explanation texts. We have also learnt Talk for Writing actions for our class WAGOLL in order to help us with remembering key vocabulary and how to structure an explanation text. Later in the week, we started to research and plan our own explanation text explaining how birds can fly.
