Phonics
Please watch the phonics lesson below introducing the 'eigh' sound as part of the 'ai' sound family. There is also a worksheet to complete if you would like to, but we would like to see your child apply one of the 'eigh' words in a sentence.
Use the sentences and words to help you complete the apply section of the phonics lesson
English
Today we would like you to watch the video of Paddington Bear read by Miss Robbins, then listen to Miss Robbins explaining the comprehension questions about the text.
A photograph of these questions has been placed below as well for you to try and answer. You don't necessarily have to write the answers down, you can chat with you parents or sibling about it or you may even be brave enough to record the answers to your questions and send them in to us.

Story Time
One of our favourite author's is Julia Donaldson. Each week we will put a link to one of her wonderful stories which have been animated on the BBC. We will upload either a few questions, an activity or ask for a book review about the story. Today we would like you to watch the link below then complete the task about 'Room on the Broom'.
Please click the link below to see a website full of wonderful activities based on the story. Alternatively, you could complete an art activity and have a go at making your own broomstick using items around your house.
