This week the children loved dressing up as super heroes after one of our parents kindly donated some super hero outfits.  As the children was so interested in the superheroes we then put some superhero templates on the table to encourage them to make marks and to design their own super hero costumes; also to think about what super power they would have.  We also made some superhero masks to wear their with their costume.  These activities encourage the children to use their imagination to think about what their characters do to help others and to develop their fine motor skills through mark making.
