Dividing a 2-digit number by a 1-digit number 

Happy Friday Year 4! Well done for getting through a full week of home learning! Today's lesson focuses on division, as we are now moving onto a new area of multiplication and division. In this lesson, we will be looking at partitioning into tens and ones before we divide as this makes the method of division much easier.

 

A little tip to support you- similar to multiplying by 0, any division sum like 0 divided by 6, or 0 divided by 10, will always give you 0!
