Awe and Wonder conclusion
The children thought about four different examples of explosions: fireworks, volcanic eruptions, popping candy/popcorn and the Big Bang theory. They considered whether they were destructive or not and provided examples. We then had a class debate about whether all explosives are destructive or not. The children wrote a short paragraph explaining their view.
