Equivalent fractions

Today we are going to focus on equivalent fractions. e.g. knowing that 1/4 is equivalent to 2/8. We are going to create our own fraction walls to support us with recognising equivalent fractions. Then, you will have the opportunity to use cuisenaire rods to explore equivalent fractions for yourself.
