This week, the children have been learning about the importance of the River Nile in ancient Egypt. They were given different reasons to discuss and they completed a diamond 9 activity in order to prioritise the reasons based on their level of importance.
We learnt about Howard Carter's discovery of Tutankhamun's tomb. The children examined a range of sources including an extract from Carter's diary and photographs taken of the contents of the tomb. We considered the reliability of the sources and discussed why they were written.
