Place Value to 50

Welcome back to our first maths lesson after half term. Let's kick things off with some counting and number sense by hitting the link below.

Our main focus for the next three weeks is going to be Place Value to 50. We are going to begin by counting on past 20 and create and count groups of 10. Have your worksheet ready and watch and join in with the video lesson by following the link below.

Curriculum Driver - Geography

This half-term we will be finding out about the weather, seasons, the North and South Poles as well as the Equator. 

We will be thinking about the types of places that pirates would like to go to on an adventure and we will be designing our very own pirate island at the end of term!

For today's lesson you will need to watch the video of Miss Short and complete the 'Watching the Weather' sheet as you go along, recording the different type of weather that you see.

We are also going to be keeping a Weather Diary for the next week so choose either the 'hard' or 'challenge' sheet to complete.  Remember to fill it in for the whole week.
