We began to explore our new curriculum driver of music!
Our first lesson was to explore dynamics.
We learnt this meant the change in volume of music.
Using the instruments we recreated dynamics in music.
We learnt that crescendo means getting louder and diminuendo means getting quieter.

We began to explore materials and found what we knew in the classroom.
We found things made from wood, plastic, meta, glass and fabric.
Next week we are going to begin our experiments with each material.

Today we have been exploring sentence formation thinking about how to accurately form sentences about the circus.
This is something we have been working on throughout the year so we used the session to practice how to form our sentences.
