We have been super lucky to spend some time with Mrs Dowse exploring the work of Shakespeare! We have focused on the use of drama and have explored Macbeth with a focus on the witches and the differences between Macbeth and Lady Macbeth. See some of our work below!
We have been portraying the characters from Holes in our English lessons. We have thought carefully about how Stanley (the main protagonist) might have felt after being accused of stealing Clyde Livingston's sneakers! We have also wrote our own news bulletins based on this story.
The judge decides that Stanley should go to Camp Green Lake to reflect on his crime, and it is here that he meets many other campers. We have written our own persuasive adverts to convince parents to send their child to Camp Green Lake.
