Dear Parents, 

Welcome back to the final half term of Reception – it seems to have gone so fast! The children have had a great first week and have been enjoying playing outside in the lovely weather. Please could you send them to school in a cap or sun hat, and on hot days apply sun lotion before school. If your child brings sun lotion to school please make sure it is clearly labelled with their name and that they know how to apply it themselves. 

Curriculum 

Our focus book this half term is The Very Hungry Caterpillar by Eric Carle; and we will be wondering “What is a mini beast?” More details can be found in Curriculum Maps.

Guinea Pigs 

If you would like to look after our lovely Guinea pigs for a weekend please speak to any member of staff. All food and equipment is provided, and if you don’t have transport we can bring them to you!
