Get a handful of counters or small objects. How can you work out how many you have? Think about how the numberblocks tried to work out which number they each were. When you have figured out how many counters you have write their corresponding numeral down with them. Do the same again with another handful of counters. |

Today’s Challenge The bad tempered ladybird and the very hungry caterpillar are both minibeasts. What other minibeasts do you know? Go on a minibeast hunt in your garden or local outdoor area. What minibeasts can you see? Where are they living? Take photos of the minibeasts so that you can talk about them with a grown up when you go back inside.
Minibeast hunt top tip: Minibeasts love to live in dark, damp places so remember to look under rocks, logs and leaves on the ground as there may be lots of minibeasts in these places. |
