The Twits

We have begun to read the story of the Twits.

We have retold the story, taken on the different parts of the characters and acted out some of the scenes.

We are really enjoying this book written by Roald Dahl.

Southwell Minster

This week we took a trip to Southwell Minster to become 'Time Travellers'.

We sang songs and learnt lots of facts about Southwell Minster.

When we returned to school we wrote a recount of our visit. 

It was great fun and we learnt lots of information. 

We have been describing the different characters from the Twits and thinking about what they do, where they have come from and how they behave. 

During literacy and reading sessions we have been describing what the charatcers look like, retelling the story and making our ow disgusting dinners!
