What a great week full of sunshine and learning!

English

This week we have received another letter from Crispin. He has told us that he is really sorry for stealing our classroom items and he has left us his book to tell us more about his story! Crispin can't breathe fire! He seems so sad and worried. We noticed that when we were describing Crispin's feelings, we used the same words- sad, angry, worried and scared, so we have made a word web full of synonyms to help us use creative vocabulary in our speech and writing. They look great!

Maths

In Maths, we have continued to look at place value. We have played lots of bingo games and learnt how to write numerals as words!

Curriculum

Our science topic this half term is 'Animals including Humans'. As part of this, each class has had a tub of caterpillars to observe! It was so exciting when we came in on Monday and saw that the caterpillars had all formed a chrysalis and were hanging from the roof of their tub! 

It won't be long before they emerge as butterflies!
