Maths
Starter
After you have done your Gem Maths, you are going to continue to practice numbers to one hundred. Play Fastest Finger on your hundred square, seeing how many numbers between 90 and 100 you can identify in one minute.
Making Equal Groups
In order to be able to multiply and divide, you need to have an understanding of equal groups and how they can be arranged in different ways. This is because multiplication and division require the repeated addition, subtraction and organisation of equal groups.
The main purpose of today's lesson is to make sure you can recognise and explain when something is equal or not. You also need to be able to that equal groups can be arranged differently.
Find some objects from around you home and see if you can arrange them into equal groups. Then arrange the objects so one group is not equal. Can your child identify which group is unequal?
Practise this several times then try the questions below.
English

Phonics and Reading
We would like you to watch the phonics lessons from Letters and Sounds which are located on YouTube and also uploaded on the phonics resource and support section in the Home Learning part of the website.
We are uploading the videos from the previous week and would like you to keep checking the Phonics section each day, especially if there is a sound your child needs to work on. Please feel free to revisit this sound, as this is what we would be doing in class to consolidate understanding.
If there are supporting activities to support the video, they will be underneath, There are also some videos using flash cards. Please have a go at saying the sounds along with Miss Smith. Make sure you are saying the pure sounds accurately.
Don't forget to read your book everyday.
