'Believe to Achieve'

Autumn2

We have had so much Christmas fun this week - Christmas dinner, Christmas crafts, Christmas party...

Today is Christmas jumper day! We have all enjoyed seeing each other in our special jumpers, we look super!

We had lots of fun this week writing letters to our parents about the Christmas Show. We put a stamp on and walked down to the post box to send them!

On Friday 27th November we had a special Rainbow day in school to raise money for Bestwood Church. We dressed up in rainbow clothes and made rainbow tassles to dance with. We had a fantastic day!

We have been learning about Diwali- The Festival of Lights. We listened to the Diwali story and dressed up as the characters. All of the children liked the character Ravana with 10 heads! We made lanterns together and hung them on the fence outside for everyone to see.

We went on an Autumn walk around school. We found lots of Autumn leaves which had changed colour! We used our leaves to make pictures, crowns and rubbings.

We made bonfire pictures using tissue paper and cards and framed our work. Then we worked together as a class to make a huge bonfire night scene using paint, leaves, glitter and sequins. We will be making our own autumn tree using handprints too. There is no limit to our creativity in Polar Bears!
