We tried different combinations of foods, deciding which we best liked together and why. This was in preparation for making our own dumplings, using 2 fillings of our choice.
This week, we practised our grating, rolling and cutting, sieving and weighing skills. We also acted out a cooking show, which helped us to learn our dumpling recipe.
After learning all the skills needed to make our own dumplings, we created a product design. We considered how we wanted them to look, the ingredients and utensils we would need and planned each step out. We linked this to our logo topic in Science and created our own logo for our dumpling packaging.
