Over the next few weeks we are going to learning about our bodies and a little bit about how they work.
We are going to be exploring how our bodies help us to interpret the world around us through our senses.
Today, we are going to begin by learning some of the basic names for parts of our bodies.
A fun way to do this might be playing Simon Says, and touch the part of the body.
The body parts you need to be able to name and find are:
chest, stomach, waist, hip, knee, ankle, head, shoulder, arm, back, elbow, hand, finger, leg, foot, feet, toe, hair, eyebrows, eyelashes, eyes, cheeks, nose, tongue, mouth, chin
Once you are familiar with all the parts above, label them onto the diagram below.
