Geography- rivers

It is just as importatn to use our geography skills too. In today's lesson, you will need to locate the rivers on the sheet below (this is also in your pack), by using the digimaps website. You will find the logins details on the PDF below, as well as being in your work pack. Once you have located the rivers, you will need to answer the following questions about the River Nile:

- In which country is the River Nile located?

- Which continent is this?

- Research the climate of the country.

You might want to go that little bit further with your research and find out about which biome the country is in.

The River Nile

In the previous lesson, you found out why the River Nile was important. In today's lesson, you will need to sort through these reasons and put them in order of importance. You can use the 'diamond nine sheet' to support you with this, along with the information sheet explaining why the River Nile was so important.

Once you have sorted and explained your reasons, you are going to write a short advertisement for a house near the River Nile. Use the reasons why it is so important to help you think about how you might sell this house!
