Year 4 Residential!
Some of the Year 4 children went away to Beaumanor Hall on 4th-5th July for their residential. They participated in climbing wall, bridge-building, treasure hunt and nightline activities. We all had a brilliant time!
Podcasts
We recorded the podcasts we have written all about Refugees, the journeys they make and ways people can support the. The children did a fabulous job of presenting these!

Thank you Miss Finnie for organising a special Inflatable Treat! We had so much fun!
We used our map skills to plan a route to Bestwood Country Park where we sketched physical features such as: leaves, bushes, trees and wildlife.
In Science we have been learning about the digestive system. The children represented this practically by mixing banana, biscuits, orange juice and water in a plastic bag (stomach). They transferred the mixture into a pair of tights (small intestine) which absorbed the nutrients. A towel (large intestine) was used to absorb the remaining water. The children then made a cut in the tights to make their own poo!
