Week 5
Our book this week was Jack and the beanstalk so the children had the opportunity to make their own leaves to go on their own beanstalk. We worked on our fine motor skills. The children drew around their leaf first practising their pencil control. We encouraged the children to hold the pencil correctly and to have good control. The children then used scissors to cut around the leaves which also encourages them to use their fine motor skills.
